Welcome to the home of the 2009 Queensland Half Marathon. The Queensland Half Marathon will be staged at its permanent home, the Doomben Racecourse, on the 7th of June. All of the athletes will have the memorable experience of finishing in front of the stands and the racetrack.

The day’s events will be made up of the Half Marathon (21.1 km), the Doomben 10,000 (10 km), 5km fun run and the Doomben Cup (2.5 km walk). Doomben, Brisbane's oldest racecourse, will provide the perfect backdrop for an exciting carnival atmosphere. Spectators and competitors will be enticed to join in the activities, drink in the atmosphere whilst applauding the "back of pack" runners, watch the award ceremonies and enjoy the post event party.
